Kadrioru Library closes for relocation

Dear readers!

The Kadrioru Library will be closed from 7 December 2025 until 3 March 2026 and will move to
L. Koidula 12a building to Narva mnt 63 for renovation.

Books borrowed from the Kadrioru Library before its closure have longer return periods – you can keep them until the library opens in a new location.

Readers are welcome to visit other libraries in Tallinn, the closest of which to Kadrioru Library is Torupilli Library (Gonsiori 36).

Narva mnt 63 will be the temporary home of the Kadrioru Library. While there, we will be looking for a new and more spacious space for the library in the Kadriorg area, which will provide more space for both books and library visitors and allow us to improve the quality of our services. However, if no new premises can be found, the library will move back to its current premises after the renovation of the Koidula 12a building.
